Terms & Conditions – Skin of Youth Spa

Welcome to Skin of Youth Spa. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Appointments & Bookings

  • All treatments are subject to availability.

  • We kindly ask that you arrive on time for your appointment to ensure you receive the full duration of your treatment.

  • Late arrivals may result in a shorter treatment time to avoid impacting other clients.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee.

  • Missed appointments (no shows) may be charged at the full treatment cost.

Payments

  • Payment is required at the time of service.

  • Accepted payment methods include cash and direct deposit.

  • Gift vouchers are valid until the stated expiry date and are non-transferable, and non-refundable.

Health & Safety

  • Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, medications or skin sensitivities prior to your treatment.

  • Some treatments may not be suitable for certain medical conditions, your safety is always the priority.

  • Skin of Youth Spa reserves the right to decline or modify a treatment if it is considered unsafe or unsuitable.

Personal Belongings

  • While we take care to provide a safe environment, Skin of Youth Spa is not responsible for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings.

Liability

  • All treatments are provided by a qualified professional with care and attention.

  • Results may vary based on individual skin types, conditions, and adherence to aftercare.

  • Skin of Youth Spa is not liable for outcomes beyond our reasonable control.

Privacy

  • Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and will never be shared without your consent unless required by law.

Minors Policy

  • Clients under 18 years must have a parent or legal guardian present at the initial consultation and provide signed consent for all treatments.

  • Some treatments may not be suitable for minors due to safety or product ingredient guidelines.

  • Children who are not receiving a treatment must be supervised by an adult at all times.

  • For safety reasons, Skin of Youth Spa cannot supervise children or allow unsupervised minors in treatment areas

Contraindications

  • Some treatments cannot be performed if you have certain medical conditions, infections, or are taking medications that may impact treatment safety.

  • It is the client’s responsibility to disclose all relevant health information, including:

  • Skin conditions (eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, rosacea, etc.)

  • Recent surgery, cosmetic procedures, or injuries

  • Use of retinoids, antibiotics, steroids, or photosensitising medications

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding

  • Active infections, cold sores, or contagious conditions

  • Failure to disclose accurate information may increase the risk of adverse reactions.

  • Skin of Youth Spa reserves the right to modify or decline a treatment if a contraindication is present.

Home-Based Spa Etiquette

  • To maintain a professional and peaceful environment within a home-based setting, we kindly ask clients to:

  • Arrive at their scheduled appointment time (not early) to avoid interrupting other sessions.

  • Follow all parking and entry instructions provided to respect neighbouring homes.

  • Silence mobile phones during treatments.

  • Attend appointments alone unless accompanying a minor or pre-approved by the therapist.

  • Be respectful within the premises, which operates as both a professional workspace and private home.

Infection Control & Illness Policy

  • Please reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell, including symptoms such as fever, cough, vomiting, flu-like illness, or any contagious skin condition.

  • Clients with active skin infections (cold sores, wounds, bacterial or fungal infections) may need to postpone treatment.

  • Skin of Youth Spa adheres to strict hygiene practices, including:

  • Sanitising treatment areas between clients

  • Proper sterilisation of reusable tools

  • Use of medical-grade disinfectants and disposable items where appropriate

  • Skin of Youth Spa reserves the right to refuse treatment if signs of illness or infection are present.

Changes to Terms

  • Skin of Youth Spa may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.  The most current version will always be available on our website or provided upon request.
